IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN…TO BLITZ

Yes, gentlemen, it’s Blitz time and your opportunity to make a major impact on your council’s recruitment effort. This year the State Deputy is requiring two Blitz efforts, one in the October/November time frame and again during the March/April time frame.

So, lets “kick-the-tires and light-the-fires”

Last month’s bulletin printed the Supreme guide to holding an effective blitz and this month I would like to draw your attention to one more Supreme publication…

“A Guide to Membership Recruitment”, pamphlet # 2769 revised 1/10. This informative booklet covers everything from Blitzes to the Benefits of Membership, and everything in between. Order several of these from Supreme for all of your council members. Much time and effort was put into this document to aid you in your efforts, so take advantage of the hard work done for your benefit.

Our numbers are lagging behind last year’s at this time, but with your Blitzes scheduled, staff identified to work the Blitz tables, and pulpit announcements from your Pastor or a member of your council… your new members count should start improving immediately.

DON’ T BLITZ, OR EVEN ASK ANYONE TO JOIN, UNLESS YOU KNOW WHEN AND WHERE THE NEXT 1st DEGREE IS BEING HELD…

If you can’t tell a prospect when and where his first ceremony will be, you’ll lose him AND his first impression of the Order won’t be the lesson of Charity. If your council doesn’t have a 1st Degree team, find out where the closest one is and be sure you know their schedule. EVERY MONTH.
